What We Do

“I have a son, who is my heart. A wonderful young man, daring and loving and strong and kind.”

– Maya Angelou

Our Mission

Black Men Who Blog ™ was created to fill the lifestyle gap that has been around for decades when it comes to how we are viewed by society. We are focused on creating a platform for Black Men and Men of Color connect and support each other and their communities.

Nelson Mandela once said, “Only Free Men can negotiate. A prisoner cannot enter into contracts.” For centuries, we have been imprisoned in our minds without knowing it. We have struggled to raise men who will lead our people into the future.

What we do is simple. We do everything we can to make sure that we are not taken for granted. We hold society responsible for the neglect we’ve experienced. We support the development of our young brothers and work towards building a brighter future for them.

Let’s work together to create something we all would be proud of.

“For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.” – Nelson Mandela
